BBSRC research spend 2015-2016: £332 million

The charts below show annual research spend grouped by institution type (e.g. top 30 UK HEIs (based on grants ‘live’ on 1 April 2015), non-top 30 UK HEIs and strategically funded institutes).

Two versions are shown:

  1. The Roslin Institute and IBERS included within the HEIs as these two strategically funded institutes are embedded within HEIs.
  2. All strategically funded institutes grouped together.
