Proposals developed at the sandpit event will be expected to:
- Focus on or be applicable to aquaculture systems that are part of the livelihoods of poor communities in developing countries, and/or farmed fish species that are consumed by these communities;
- Contribute to improving food security in partner countries;
- Be genuinely trilateral in nature, including at least one institution each from the UK, India and low income countries.
