Targeted priority studentships

Targeted Priority Studentships are awarded in areas that BBSRC recognises requires building of capacity and expertise. These studentships, of which there are around 35 awarded per annum, are usually awarded alongside pre-existing initiatives and schemes, including the Research and Technology Clubs and the Knowledge Based Bioeconomy priority area of the strategic Longer Larger (sLOLA) grants scheme.
