Outcome of claims following August 2007 FMD outbreak at Pirbright

BBSRC is pleased with the decision by the High Court that claims against the Institute for Animal Health by those who did not lose livestock as a result of the outbreak have been struck out for legal reasons. BBSRC does not plan to make any further comment on this decision.
