Innovator of the year 2012

Networking and award reception

Date: 28 March 2012, 4pm - 7.30pm
Venue: One Great George Street, Westminster, London

Innovator of the Year 2012 will celebrate the success of scientists who have translated their excellent research into social and economic impacts.

This event will focus on how the best researchers have positively changed the lives and work of people outside of their usual professional circles. Each finalist will invite a person whose life they have changed – they could be farmers, nurses, patients or business people, and together they will discuss how investment in research has real life impacts on economic growth and social good.

The reception will include a panel discussion, a networking reception to showcase the innovator finalists and an award ceremony to announce the winners of Innovator of the Year 2012.
