Venue: East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham
The themes for this year are about the possible futures that may come from the present economic climate that continues to be depressed and uncertain, but where universities are seen as key drivers of innovation and growth. At the same time the higher education sector is seeing an unprecedented period of far-reaching change. Amid this turbulence lies opportunity which knowledge transfer professionals are well placed to grasp.
The programme will include a choice of eight parallel sessions which have been structured to appeal to all levels of a research commercialisation workforce - from new employees to senior directors.
BBSRC is hosting the session 'Achieving Impact: balancing knowledge exchange and commercialisation' on 14 June, 1pm-2.30 pm. The session will be chaired by Dr Celia Caulcott, BBSRC's Director of Innovation and Skills.
Delegates will be able to showcase their work by entering a poster competition. The PraxisUnico panel will also be available for questions and to raise a debate about topical issues, that may be raised.
