BBSRC, EPSRC and the Technology Strategy Board are organising two free consortia-building workshops to promote the new £45M IB Catalyst funding scheme, which has been launched to help businesses and researchers develop innovative solutions to challenges facing the Industrial Biotechnology (IB) sector.
The other workshop is on 12 February 2014 at the Royal York Hotel, York.
- To enable potential applicants to get a better understanding of the competition process, rules and scope
- To help with consortia building, and offer a great opportunity for delegates to pitch their capabilities to potential collaborative partners
The morning will focus on understanding the competition, application and assessment processes. While the afternoon will offer networking and consortia building opportunities. BBSRC and Technology Strategy Board staff will be present along with the IB Catalyst Co-ordinator to address any queries related to the competition.
This workshop will also be available to view online as a webinar for those unable to attend. Register to view the webinar via the Technology Strategy Board website.
