Sustainable Agriculture Research & Innovation Club (SARIC) sandpit
BBSRC is organising this workshop with NERC.
Together with NERC we are hosting this interactive strategic workshop (sandpit) with the ultimate aim of funding multidisciplinary research and research translation projects within the remit of the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Innovation Club (SARIC).
- This is a SARIC event and therefore all proposal ideas developed during the sandpit must fall within the remit of SARIC and its two key themes:
- resilient and robust crop and livestock production systems
- predictive capabilities for sustainable agriculture.
- Specific industry challenges will be posted by SARIC industry members during the sandpit.
Participants will be expected to present a project idea as part of a multidisciplinary team to an expert panel on the final day of the sandpit.
Sandpit participants will have the opportunity to submit a full research and/or research translation grant proposal through Je-S in November 2017. For those invited to attend reasonable costs for travel and accommodation will be met.
How to register
Applicants must register their interest to participate and will receive a formal invitation confirming attendance. For more information and to register your interest please visit the NERC website: NERC: Sustainable Agriculture Research & Innovation Club (SARIC) Sandpit 2017.
