BBSRC collaborative research grants praised by independent report

An independent evaluation of two of BBSRC's collaborative research funding mechanisms, Industrial Partnership Awards (IPAs) and 'stand-alone' LINK, concluded that the schemes are effective ways for supporting collaborative research with industry, are delivering social and economic impact and support high quality research.
The evaluation, published online in October, also makes several recommendations to take the schemes forward. In response to these recommendations, BBSRC has made modifications to the schemes.
