Final evaluation report of the BBSRC/EPSRC Synthetic Biology Dialogue is published

The final evaluation report of the BBSRC/EPSRC Synthetic Biology Dialogue has now been published. The report examines the outcomes of the dialogue 6 months after it was completed. It includes interviews with participants and stakeholders as well as mapping of activity on Twitter, citations and links to the report in speeches, at meetings and online. While it is still early to expect to see policy influence as a result of the dialogue, the report acknowledges that outcomes so far are an encouraging indication that messages from the dialogue have been taken on board. The report also includes a number of learning points for future dialogue projects to consider as well as recommendations for ongoing dialogue around synthetic biology.
