Update on BBSRC grant announcements

BBSRC is currently experiencing delays in processing formal announcement letters for grant applications submitted to recent rounds and for some initiatives. We are sorry for the inevitable inconvenience and uncertainty this is causing our research community and we are working hard to solve the problems.

The delays have been caused by the implementation of new policies and procedures by BBSRC at the same time as needing to transition our grant processing to the RCUK Shared Service Centre. Steps taken in the last few days mean that we expect to be able to complete the issuing of award letters from recent rounds within the next eight weeks.
