Renaming of Redeployment Committee/clarification regarding withdrawal from voluntary redundancy
The Redeployment Committee has been renamed the Redundancy and Redeployment Committee.
Further clarification has been added to paragraph 6.5 of appendix A14.2 stating that once voluntary redundancy is accepted and notice given it may not be withdrawn

Recruitment and retention allowance
The RRA annual review process in paragraph 2.8 of the main page of appendix A7.8 has been amended in order to clarify the process. Please also note the removal from paragraph 2.2 of the need to refer cases to the Pay Team when an RRA is discontinued because an individual has changed jobs.

The whistleblowing section A12d:1 has been amended to reflect the new governance arrangements and to clarify the difference between a grievance and a protected disclosure (including providing examples)

Personal promotion - renumbering of the panel report form and interview report form
The panel report form was introduced in amendment 142 and placed in the code as an extra appendix A6.6, in addition to the pre-existing interview report form. For ease of reference we have decided to number the panel report form as appendix A6.6ii, and the interview report form will be numbered as appendix A6.6i (see index page to appendix A6.6 ). As a result. we have had to make a few minor text amendments to the main page of section A6 and to appendix A6.4.

Update to training request form to include costs
The training request form ( appendix A5.2 ) has been updated to include 2 boxes to capture costs for books/materials and T&S (if applicable). This information will enable local Training Managers/HR to establish the overall cost of the training request, as part of the decision making process.
A few minor, non-substantive, corrections have been made to appendix A5.3 .

Personal promotion - new panel report form
A panel report form has been added to the employment code, for cases of personal promotion up to band F that are approved/declined without interview, appendix A6.6 . This is covered in appendix A6.4 paragraph 3.

Updating of the performance pay nomination form
The performance pay nomination form for exceptional awards at Appendix A7.3i in the employment code has been updated in light of feedback received at last year’s performance pay panels. The form is more directive and provides line managers with a framework to comment on employee performance.
