1. Code of Conduct
1.1 Introduction
BBSRC has adopted Codes of Conduct following acceptance by the government of recommendations 47 and 48 of the First Report of the Nolan Committee on Standards in Public Life. The Codes of Conduct form part of your terms and conditions of service. Any breaches of the codes may be the subject of disciplinary action.
The full Code of Conduct for employees within BBSRC Office is at appendix A12b:1 and for MRP employees at appendix A12b:2. If you work at a BBSRC establishment you should make yourself aware of the local rules. See appendix A12b:3 for Statement on Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice.
