Duties undertaken on behalf of overseas organisations, etc

When you are offered a fee over and above the cost of travel and subsistence you may:-

undertake the assignment in official time, as part of official duties, and pass the fee to the establishment, or
undertake the assignment as a consultancy, having obtained the Director's permission – see appendix A10:3.
