Calculation of leave for part-time employees

Part-time employees are allowed paid annual leave appropriate to their pay band and length of service proportionate to the number of hours worked in the week. The leave allowance is calculated in hours according to the formula below and the result rounded up to the nearest whole hour.

(Total number of hoursworked per week × number of daysannual leave appropriate to pay band and length of service) ÷ 5 = annual leave allowance for part-timers (in hours).
