In September 2003 Critical I Limited carried out a review of the first two BBSRC Business Plan Competitions to report on commercial activity of participating teams.

The report findings arise from a quantitative and qualitative study of the thirty-two teams who participated in the mentoring (Stage II) phase of the competitions.

• Participants' suggestions for the conent and delivery of future Business Plan Competitions
