  • Review of Institute for Animal Health - Pirbright Laboratory (PDF 210KB)

In November 2001 BBSRC established a review group to advise on the future role, structure and funding of Institute for Animal Health - Pirbright Laboratory. The group was chaired by Professor Keith Gull from The University of Manchester and included two senior officials from DEFRA.

BBSRC Council considered the final report from the group at its meeting in July 2002. The report was welcomed and its 14 detailed recommendations accepted as positive and helpful way forward.
