Transparency of spend

In support of the government's transparency agenda we are publishing details of all of our spend including Government Procurement Card (GPC) transactions with effect from 1 December 2012. Prior to this date we published details of our spend over £25,000 and all GPC transactions of £500 and over.

Data is presented for BBSRC Swindon Office. This includes expenditure by joint services hosted by BBSRC on behalf of all Research Councils, such as: Joint Building and Office Services (JBOS), Joint Superannuation Services (JSS) and the UK Research Office (UKRO) based in Brussels.

The RCUK Shared Service Centre Ltd is a separate legal entity, wholly owned by the seven UK Research Councils, providing services to multiple customers and organisations and run on a commercial basis. The RCUK Shared Service Centre Ltd incorporates the following core business areas: human resources, finance, procurement, IT and telecommunications, and grants processing.
