Sustainable Agriculture Strategy Panel
We are reorganising our Strategy Panels. Updated information will be available as soon as possible.
BBSRC supports high-quality research in plant, animal and related sciences to help provide economically and environmentally sustainable agriculture and land use in the UK. The Panel has overarching responsibility for BBSRC's strategy in this area.
Is responsible for:
- Reporting annually to Strategy Advisory Board
- Developing and maintaining an overview of the relevant research and training portfolio across BBSRC, and its competitiveness and relevance nationally and internationally
- Producing a strategy and action plan to develop and maintain this portfolio at the international forefront, and in line with the BBSRC Strategic Plan
- Appraising applications to initiatives approved by Strategy Advisory Board as within its remit
