Bioscience generates a huge breadth of impacts that encompass policy, society and industry. Bioscience underpins areas as diverse as pharmaceuticals, bioenergy, food and farming and the impacts of research are felt right across society.
BBSRC has led the way in encouraging the researchers it funds to maximise impact from their excellent research. It has set up two incentive awards: BBSRC Excellence with Impact, which rewards departments; and BBSRC Innovator of the Year, which rewards individuals or teams.
Bioscience for Growth is an opportunity to network with the entrants for these awards as well as senior representatives from business, industry, investment and policy making in order to establish new collaborative relationships.
