Through RCUK, BBSRC has agreed a set of principles for its grant holders to make readily available the outputs from the research it funds. It requires a copy of published refereed papers to be deposited at the earliest opportunity in an appropriate e-print repository, where such a repository is available.
BBSRC is one of the funders of UK PubMed Central - a digital archive of full-text, peer-reviewed research publications.
