How does BBSRC support fellowships?
BBSRC has schemes to support excellent researchers at various stages in their careers, providing a prestigious opportunity to develop their skills as a scientist, group leader and impact generator.
We invest in fellowships both directly, and in partnership with other organisations.
Future Leader Fellowship: Supports researchers who show excellent potential and who wish to undertake independent research in a host research group and gain the skills required to be successful in future leadership roles
David Phillips Fellowships: Supports outstanding researchers to conduct very high-quality research and establish independent academic careers
The Daphne Jackson Fellowship: Supports scientists wishing to return to research after a career break of two of more years. The scheme is administered by the Daphne Jackson Trust
