Under the banner of RCUK, BBSRC commissioned Ipsos MORI SRI to help us gain insight into public attitudes to BBSRC- and MRC-funded ageing research.

This work was guided by a steering group and a report of the work was launched at an open meeting in July 2006.

Next steps

The findings from the study have informed the development (with the Medical Research Council) of a new touring exhibition and dialogue events on the science of ageing.
