Stem cell science meeting

Stem cell science - Hope not hype

October 2006

To coincide with a touring exhibit of the same name, BBSRC has held public discussion meetings on stem cell research at venues in Edinburgh (October 2006) and Dundee (February 2007).

Meeting summary

An independent raporteur (Lisa Matthews) captured the main points that were raised during the meetings.

  • Dundee report (PDF 48KB)
  • Edinburgh report (PDF 24KB)

Next steps

These reports will be used to inform future public engagement activities on stem cell research, and to start discussion.
