Discovering DNA - the recipe of life

Students can gain a basic understanding of the role of DNA within cells of the human body, and an appreciation that it is the uniqueness of their own DNA ‘recipes’ which makes them individuals.

These workshops were designed for 11 to 14 year olds in support of their science education, and 9 to 12 year olds as curriculum extension exercises.
